This bowl was turned, carved and embellished to emanate a Sunflower in bloom. Turned from one piece of Poplar, the petals were carved, textured and embellished with acrylic paint, pyrography and gold leaf. Timber - Poplar.  Dimensions - 220mm Diameter 

This piece was inspired by the captivating shapes and colours of starfish. Turned from one piece of Sycamore it was carved and embellished with pyrography, ink and Gilders paste. Finished with Haarlem oil. Timber - Sycamore.  Dimensions - 170mm diameter.

Inspired by the incredible camouflage and skin patterns of Cephalopods. Created to capture movement. Turned from one piece of Poplar, carved and embellished with pyrography, acrylic paint and gold leaf. Finished with Haarlem oil.  Timber - Poplar 260mm diameter.
