Amish Bar Stool

A four-legged Amish style oak stool with eight rungs.  760 mm high with a 406 mm spread between the legs on each side.  Finished with lacquer. 

Hagley Park High-back

Mixed species fallen timber collected from Hagley Park. Seasoned, steam bent & hand shaped to construct my interpretation of a High-back Welsh stick chair. Constructed from Elm, Oak, European beech, London plane & Ash, with wedged mortice & tenons.

Walnut with turned Quilted Olive Ash legs fitted with wedged mortice and tenons. Hand shaped Elm spindles fitted top & bottom by wedged mortice & tenons. Arm and headrest steam bent. 1630mm long, 460mm seat height, 1030mm overall height.

Rocking Chair

Spindle-turned rocking chair, built from start to finish from purple heart wood. Hand-upholstered in subtle floral design to complement the rich purple wood tone. Dimensions: H1050mm W590mm D600mm.

Roots in Resin Coffee table

Approx 480 x 480 x 450h, American Oak (frame), reinforced hardwood ply/felt/Epoxy resin top. The top was the inspiration for this table and was the result of experimenting with roots grown into felt, the wood frame was kept simple but elegant.

Small Table

Small cabriole leg table, top NZ native Matai, legs heart Matai, skirt NZ native Miro. Finish is Beall buffed, Organ oil, then plain buffed after 2 days. 300 mm high, 420 mm wide.

Totara Stool
