Red Mallee Natural edge burl. This bowl sits on three feet with a carved rim to picture frame the delight in the grain. The gold leafed leaves are to tell the story of how this burl came from the gold fields in Australia. 400mm dia 85mm high.
A delight at Christmas and when we have the blooms in flower. The flowers are life sized on this form, 300mm high 250 mm diameter. Turned, carved and embellished with a dash of colour - as the tree in bloom looks.

This Ancient Kauri waka holds a carved Bone Feather. A vase, transformed to a canoe, carved and embellished. Koru patterned hull is depicted as new beginnings and the gift feather as a holding place to our elders. 450mm long and 90mm high.
