Elm base and bowl finished with tung oil and wax. Stem constructed from rimu joined with intertwined bamboo strips both textured with modelling paste and finished with a painted verdigris effect. 345 mm high.

Spalted American sweetgum bowl. Turned green, burned, brushed, burnished, and finished with linseed oil and beeswax.  Recycled copper pewa attached with copper nails.  Material: Liquidambar styracilfua.  Diameter: 310/285 mm Height: 165 mm. Rim wall thickness: 8 mm.

Arizona Cypress deep bowl.  Trypophobia, extreme fear of clusters of small holes.  Perforated and sandblasted to add a visual texture and feel. Sealed with Danish oil and bees wax finish.  200 mm (8") x 200 mm (8").
